
Artist/Art Instructor
Pantea Karimi has been teaching art and writing lesson plans for both youths and adults for the past 17 years. She obtained a Masters Degree in graphic design from Art University in Tehran, in 1999, a BTEC Diploma in printmaking and glass works from Hastings College of Arts and Technology in England in 2004 and a Masters Degree in printmaking and painting from San Jose State University in San Jose, California in May 2009.
While residing in England, 2001-2005, she taught fine arts and computer graphics programs to youth for Education Action Zone (EAZ) organization. In San Jose, California, Pantea taught 2-D Design Concepts, Beginning Oil Painting, Color and Representational Drawing courses at San Jose State University as both Teaching Associate and Teaching Assistant between 2007 and 2009. She presently teaches fine arts classes, art camps and art tours at Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) in Mountain View, and for the Euphrat Museum, at De Anza College, in Cupertino, California.
